Monday Bluems.

Here's the simplest trick for extending the life of your flowers. When you put the fresh blossoms into a vase with water, add an ice cube or two to the water. It extends the life of your flowers and they'll last over a week!

Works every time! Do you have any tried and true tricks to keeping your flowers longer? I'd love to hear!

  1. I will have to give this a try! I have heard to add sugar but I'm not sure if it works. I change the water probably every other day and after a few days I re-clip the stems. I just posted about some beautiful ranunculus flowers in my blog. I love how flowers can brighten even a cloudy day! :)

  2. You can put a packet of sugar in your water and another trick is to add an aspirin, I have done both, I also trim the stems and change the water every few days
