Monday Bluems.

Today I have a little Etsy roundup with some of my favorite floral pieces for the home. First I've chosen a few photographs. I love the airy composition of all of them, and they each have the most beautiful color palette. These would be great blown up and hanging huge and proud over a sofa or even at the end of a hallway. Large scale is important to keep flower photographs looking modern and high-end .

Next up is a collection of prints by artist Peggy Wolf. Fashion meets floral to create pieces perfect for all the bohemian, artsy ladies out there. I'm dying to own one!

And last but not least, one of the most common ways to add a bit of floral to your space is through pillows. Here are some gorgeous examples.

Happy Monday!

Monday Bluems.

"If you look the right way, you can see that the whole world is a garden."

I suppose one lovely thing about all the rain we've been getting is the inevitable green to follow. Isn't this image stunning. I love the black antique urns, the ravenous emerald vines, and the mystery of what lies behind that stone wall.

Happy Monday lovelies!

Monday Bluems.

Hi loves. How was the weekend? Mine was lovely. 75 degree weather yesterday, along with a furniture delivery I'd been anxiously awaiting, didn't hurt in my quest for complete contentment.

Anyway, today I wanted to bring you a few photos where flowers are a prominent player in the decor. Enjoy!

(House Beautiful. Love that all the main pieces are neutral to the extreme, yet the space looks anything but bland due to strategically bright accessories.)

What are your favorite blooms to decorate with?
Mine are ranunculus in every shade (now inundating markets across America!!) and peonies which are coming in a few short weeks.

Monday Bluems.

Here's the simplest trick for extending the life of your flowers. When you put the fresh blossoms into a vase with water, add an ice cube or two to the water. It extends the life of your flowers and they'll last over a week!

Works every time! Do you have any tried and true tricks to keeping your flowers longer? I'd love to hear!

Monday Bluems.

I'm so very excited to introduce a brand new segment ATLS will feature on Mondays called Monday Bluems. What better way to cure the monday blahs than with beautiful blossoming flowers! Fresh flowers are the quickest way to add a pop of color, life, and pretty to a space.

In Monday Bluems (get it... blues+blooms=bluems, I kill myself with clever sometimes), I'll share my tips and tricks I've discovered through the years on how to arrange flowers, display them, and extend their life all at a very affordable price point. These days you can find them for $5 a bunch, so there's no reason why you can't have these beauties too!

Today I'm remembering some of my favorite examples of flowers I've used in a space.

FLOWERS! See, I told you.**

**The above photo was taken after a few too many birthday cocktails. Don't worry-although I love flowers, I don't love flowers.
