Sticks and Stones.

Only 375 square feet (yes, you heard right), yet this adorable couple was able to fit so many amazing element into their Lower East Side apartment.

It includes chalkboard paint, exposed brick walls, and gauzy white curtains and linen.

No inch was left untouched, as they even eeked out a charming garden patio.

The bedroom is equal parts comfy and romantic, with plush white bedding stealing the show.

They borrowed the perfect table for two (or four if you squeeze) from the husbands furniture company, Capsule Furniture.
Husband Daniel builds furniture from reclaimed wood and includes a capsuled letter outlining the history of the wood. How cool is that?! And his wife, a representative for a women's clothing line, ooooozes style. Just look at that sassy outfit and laugh above.

You raaaang?

With the holidays in full swing, entertaining is on the minds of many. Out-of-town friends and family visiting for the holidays make an impromptu gathering more likely than ever. Whether for coffee, after dinner cocktails, or a full on feast, you want to be ready for whatever fun get-togethers may ensue.

A butler's pantry was traditionally found in large homes and was a place silver and other serving items were stored. The butler often slept in these quarters in order to keep thieving hands at bay.

Now they can be found in contemporary homes as a small hallway between the kitchen and dining room. Even if your home doesn't have one, a single cabinet can be transformed into a "pantry" of sorts, housing all the party essentials. This can be a great place to store wine, your finest china and silver serviing pieces, and even fun napkins and other linens crucial for creating a fun and festive last minute soiree.

Work Hard, Play Hard.

Offices can be tricky. They need to be highly organized in order to facilitate efficient work, but may look cold and sterile if you don't include details that make you happy and add color and personality to the space. Here are some tips to help you achieve the office of your dreams.

Clear desk space by hanging personal items on the wall over your desk. This way, you can still see them every time you look up from your work, but you have more space for the necessities.

Utility can be pretty, as evidenced by the sterling silver pencil holder on this desk. Function is important when choosing items for your desk, but it shouldn't be the only thing you consider when choosing pieces to include. If function and form meet, you will begin to create a space that truly makes you happy every time you enter.

You can "go big" with other element of your office such chairs, curtains, and walls, but it's typically a good idea to keep your desk a neutral color so as not to distract from your work.

Offices tend to be on the small side, so creating a focal wall or two can add character and depth to a space. Sometimes all four walls in a bright color can be too much.

Create a memo board that can act as the epicenter of your office. Here you could include a calendar, goals, mission statement, bill payment, important contact information, etc. depending on your business needs.

Add a small plant. It adds life to what can be a dreary place at times.
