Tufted Upholstery and March Madness.

I love me some tufting! Tufting can be so glamorous and also adds some extra visual interest to an otherwise plain piece. I am searching for the perfect tufted bench for a dressing room project I'm currently working on, and it got me thinking about how much I love a good tufted piece. Below are some of my favorites.

Uncork the fun. (Cork walls)

Domino featured cork more than once, and every time I loved it. It's such a classic material, but something about using it on a wall is strikingly innovative and fresh. And I love how it allows so much space for displaying a few a million pictures, be it art, photographs, or favorite keepsakes from a life well-lived.




(Peonies annnnd a cork covered lamp with photobooth pictures and a vintage broach attached to it. Sigh.)

Stripes.

Goodness, do I love me a good stripe! The perfect mix of classic and fun. An essential component of happy design.
